Amy Mason needs to rehome her 3 year old neutered male American Mastiff named Drax. He is fawn colored and weighs 160 pounds. He has been through extensive training but would be better suited for a home without children.
Her late husband purchased Drax and then died suddenly six months after they got him in 2020. She has a six year old son and Drax sees him as an equal. He is highly trainable and responds well to given commands. She has done the best she can with her available time and resources by putting him through puppy kindergarten and another 15 day off site training program here in Alabama. She has also consulted with her veterinarian and her vet agrees that rehoming would be the best available option at this point. He is also willing to serve as a reference for Drax.
